This installation is part of my BA Graduation Project, a reflexion on the act of painting.
In flower language, the Ancolie flower is chosen by someone who want to comfort his/her loved one.
Synopsis:
Anemone’s son is going to the war.
Before he leaves, he swears that everyday, his mother will receive some flowers that will testify his good health.
Anemone receives the promised flowers, although her son had died just a few days after he arrived at the battlefield.
All this, was the result of the actions of her neighbour.
